titleOfInvention | Method for preparing medical material for replacing hard tissue defect and medical material prepared by same |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method of producing a medical material for replacing a hard tissue loss part and a medical material produced thereby, and more particularly, to a medical material provided by press-forming a bioactive glass powder, then performing a first heat treatment at a relatively low temperature lower than the glass transition temperature of the bioactive glass, then processing into a desired shape, and performing a second heat treatment at a temperature higher than the glass transition temperature of the bioactive glass, to overcome the low compressive strength defect of hydroxyapatite used as an existing hard tissue replacement material, while being capable of custom-producing a desired shape matching the shape of a hard tissue loss part in vivo, minimizing thermal shock, and also being capable of exhibiting bone fusion characteristics. |
