The present invention gives a description of a method for a dishwashing method in which water having an oxidizing and disinfecting action is supplied to a dishwasher and the water is used as dishwashing water or added to dishwashing water, and the present invention gives a description of a dishwasher that can carry out the method. In order to supply water with an oxidizing and sterilizing effect, a stream of untreated water is fed to a reverse osmosis unit where it is separated into a concentrate stream and a permeate stream. Ozone is produced by means of an ozone generator and introduced into the permeate stream from the reverse osmosis unit. |
