abstract The invention discloses an application of an ethanol extract of lindley eupatorium in preparing anti-hepatitis B virus medicines. The ethanol extract of lindley eupatorium prepared from lindley eupatorium is subjected to anti-hepatitis B virus HBV experiment, and results show that the ethanol extract of lindley eupatorium has the effects of obviously inhibiting hepatitis B surface antigen HBsAg and hepatitis B core antigen HBeAg, and has better medicinal activity compared with a clinical medicament lamivudine (3TC) for treating hepatitis B. The lindley eupatorium herb ethanol extract can be used for preparing anti-hepatitis B virus medicines.
