abstract The present invention relates to substituted pyrimidinylpyrrolopyridones and pyridylpyrrolopyridone compounds that modulate the activity of protein kinases and are thus useful in the treatment of diseases caused by dysregulated activity of protein kinases, especially RET family kinases.
