abstract | The invention provides a catalyst for removing volatile organic compounds prepared from red mud and a preparation method thereof. The method comprises the following steps: a) adding acid into the red mud, carrying out acidolysis leaching to obtain first slurry after acidolysis, aging the first slurry, and carrying out solid-liquid separation to obtain a solid and a separation liquid; b) adjusting the pH value of the separation liquid obtained in the step a) to be more than or equal to 8.5 to obtain a second slurry, carrying out solid-liquid separation on the second slurry to obtain a solid, wherein the obtained solid is an iron-titanium-aluminum composite precursor; c) roasting the iron-titanium-aluminum composite precursor obtained in the step b) to obtain the iron-titanium-aluminum catalyst. And c) taking the iron-titanium-aluminum composite precursor as a carrier, and loading noble metal on the iron-titanium-aluminum composite precursor to obtain the noble metal/iron-titanium-aluminum catalyst. The preparation method provided by the invention has simple steps, realizes high-value utilization of the red mud, and has wide industrial application prospects. |
