The invention relates to a method for forming a lithium-ion battery cell comprising a material for a positive electrode having a porosity of between 20 and 35 percent and comprising at least one A sacrificial salt, a material for a negative electrode, a separator, and an electrolyte, the method comprising the successive steps of: (a) heating the cell to a temperature T between 30 degrees Celsius and 45 degrees Celsius; and (b) The cells are charged to a potential less than or equal to 4.8V, preferably between 4.6V and 4.8V, even more preferably between 4.7V and 4.8V. |
