abstract The invention discloses a reinforced polypropylene material and a preparation method thereof, wherein the volume ratio of the reinforced polypropylene material to the matrix is 6:3: 1, mixing absolute ethyl alcohol, chloroform and water to form a solvent; dissolving 0.1-3g of long-chain alkyl silane and 0.1-2g of alpha nucleating agent in a solvent in sequence; immersing 10-50 parts by weight of glass fiber into the treatment solution, stirring at 80 ℃ for 2h, distilling under reduced pressure to remove the solvent, and drying at 120 ℃; 100 parts by weight of polypropylene, 0.01-0.1 part by weight of lubricant and 0.5-1 part by weight of antioxidant are uniformly mixed and then added into a double-screw extruder for melting, the treated glass fiber is added into the double-screw extruder from a side feeding port for melting, blending, drafting, extruding, cooling and granulating to obtain the glass fiber. The invention has the advantages that: the polypropylene is modified by the alpha nucleating agent, the compatibility and the enhancement are increased by the glass fiber, the strength, the rigidity and the thermal deformation temperature of the material are improved, the dosage of the treating agent is small, and the material cost is low.
