The present invention provides the use of Slc6a13 gene and protein thereof, specifically, the present invention provides a method for preparing a liver injury animal model of a non-human mammal, the method comprising the following steps: (1) providing a non-human mammal cell , inactivating the Slc6a13 gene in the cells to obtain Slc6a13 gene inactivated cells; (2) using the described Slc6a13 gene inactivated embryonic stem cells and a wild-type blastocyst to prepare a chimeric blastocyst; (3 ) using the chimeric blastocyst to prepare an animal model of liver injury. The animal model of liver injury provided by the invention is an effective animal model of acute liver failure, which can be used to study acute liver failure, and can be used for screening and testing of specific drugs. |
