abstract |
The present invention provides a rotary connector device including a flat cable capable of maintaining high electrical conductivity and exhibiting sufficient elasticity to further improve bending characteristics. A rotary connector device (1) includes a flat cable (13) accommodated in an annular space (S1) between a stator (11) and a rotor (12). In the annular space ( S1 ), the flat cable ( 13 ) is provided with a folded-back portion ( 13 a ) that is bent and folded in the middle portion in the longitudinal direction of the flat cable. When the rotor (12) rotates clockwise or counterclockwise, the flat cable (13) is wound up or unwound while the folded-back portion (13a) is kept bent. The flat cable (13) satisfies Y≥14.175X 2 -249.35X+1406.9 when the bending radius is in the range of 4 mm to 8 mm, when the bending radius is X (mm) and the 0.2% yield strength is Y (MPa). , and the conductivity is above 50% IACS. |
