Provided is a partially driven light source device capable of suppressing coloring of a portion that should be a dark portion when a plurality of light emitting elements are partially driven. The partially driven light source device according to the present invention includes: an excitation light source; a phosphor that is disposed separately from the excitation light source and that emits emitted light in a wavelength range different from the incident light; and is disposed between the excitation light source and the excitation light source. Between the phosphor sheets, at least a part of the light in the wavelength range of the incident light from the excitation light source is transmitted, and at least a part of the light in the wavelength range of the emitted light from the phosphor sheet is transmitted.
