abstract |
A composite article includes a multilayer barrier assembly bonded to a substrate and a top polymer layer opposite the substrate bonded to the multilayer barrier assembly. The multilayer barrier assembly includes a base polymer layer and a base inorganic barrier layer. The base polymer layer includes a polymerized reaction product of a polymerizable component including at least one di(meth)acrylate represented by the following formula. , each R 1 independently represents H or a methyl group; R 2 and R 3 independently represent an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or R 2 and R 3 may together form a group having 2 to 7 carbon atoms and R 4 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms. The invention also discloses a method of manufacturing the composite material article. |
