The secure microcontroller contains a block encryption method to ensure that the contents of the communication between the integrated microcontroller and the external memory are protected and that the real-time performance of the system is preserved. In addition, the microcontroller system provides a user-configurable memory write strategy in which the memory write protocol may be selected to balance data consistency and system performance. |
