The invention takes trifluoromethanesulfonyl chloride and trimethylsilane as initial raw materials, and obtains trifluoromethyl (trimethyl) silane through free radical coupling reaction under the action of illumination or a free radical initiator, and the invention has mature reaction technology, conventional raw materials and mild reaction conditions in each step, and is an advantageous technical route. The experimental result shows that the total yield of the trifluoromethyl (trimethyl) silane product is more than 80 percent, and the purity is more than 99 percent.
