abstract |
The present invention discloses a marine diesel engine cylinder lubricating oil composition comprising (a) a major amount of an oil of lubricating viscosity, and (b) one or more non-boronated polyalkenyl disuccinimide dispersants , wherein the polyalkenyl substituents are derived from polyolefins having a number average molecular weight of from about 1500 to about 3000; and wherein the marine diesel cylinder lubricating oil composition has a total base number (TBN) of from about 5 to about 150. The present invention also discloses a marine diesel engine cylinder lubricating oil composition comprising (a) a major amount of oil of lubricating viscosity, and (b) one or more cyclic carbonate-treated polyalkenyl disuccinyl An imine dispersant, wherein the marine diesel cylinder lubricating oil composition has a total base number (TBN) of from about 5 to about 150. |
