titleOfInvention | An isolated △9-desaturase gene and its encoded protein from Lygus mesophila |
abstract | The invention belongs to the technical field of insect genetic engineering, and in particular relates to an isolated Lygus medusa △9-desaturase gene and its encoded protein. The nucleotide sequence of the Δ9-desaturase gene of Lygus melanogaster isolated by the present invention is shown in SEQ ID NO: 1, and the encoded protein sequence thereof is shown in SEQ ID NO: 2. The present invention also includes the application of the Lygus medusa △9-desaturase gene as an RNA interference sequence, and the sequence has a good silencing effect on the Lygus medinalis △9-desaturase gene. Injection of the interference sequence significantly increased the content of its pheromone component 4-oxo-trans-2-hexenal, changed the mixing ratio of pheromone, and significantly inhibited the attracting ability of females to males. Further, the protein of the present invention can be developed as a biopheromone, or can be used in the development of transgenic insect-resistant plants and in the biological control of Lygus black bug. |
