abstract The invention provides an N L RP7 gene influencing early ovine embryo development and application thereof, wherein a nucleotide sequence of the N L RP7 gene is shown as SEQ ID NO.5, the gene is highly expressed in an ovarian tissue of a female sheep and is only positioned in an oocyte, the siRNA interference fragment of the N L RP7 gene and shRNA interference plasmid are mixed and injected into a mature oocyte, and after parthenogenetic activation, the abnormal development of an embryo after the knock-down of the N L RP7 gene is found, which shows that the N L RP7 is a key gene required by the normal development of the parthenogenetic embryo of the sheep, and the application prospect is wide.
