abstract The invention relates to a novel process method for separating a methylpyrrolidone-dimethyl sulfoxide binary system to obtain a high-purity methylpyrrolidone product. Methylpyrrolidone and dimethyl sulfoxide are commonly used organic solvents, widely used in medicine, leather products, polymer spinning, coatings and other industries, and are very good aprotic polar organic solvents. Yet, because both boiling points are very close, adopt conventional rectification method and can't separate and obtain pure methylpyrrolidone product. Therefore, the present invention aims at the phenomenon that methylpyrrolidone and dimethyl sulfoxide cannot be effectively separated by conventional rectification methods, so that high-purity methylpyrrolidone cannot be obtained, and the process method of introducing entraining agent for special rectification can be successfully The methylpyrrolidone and dimethyl sulfoxide are separated to obtain a methylpyrrolidone product with a purity greater than 99%. The entrainer introduced in the process is green, non-toxic or low-toxic, the recovery rate of methylpyrrolidone is high, and the process is simple.
