In the invention, the refining of the 2, 6-xylenol and the o-ethylphenol can be realized at one time in the m-p-cresol refining process by continuously rectifying the crude m-p-cresol for two times and matching with the specific temperature, pressure and reflux ratio, and the high-purity o-ethylphenol, 2, 6-xylenol and m-p-cresol are obtained simultaneously.
