abstract The invention relates to a preparation method of horseshoe crab peptide paste, a horseshoe crab peptide paste product and application thereof, wherein the preparation method comprises the following steps: 1) collecting meat liquid and seeds of horseshoe crab, and grinding into slurry by colloid mill to obtain fine slurry; 2) adding animal protease and flavor enzyme into the fine slurry for hydrolysis, and heating to kill enzyme after hydrolysis is finished to obtain enzymatic hydrolysate; 3) and (4) concentrating the enzymolysis liquid in vacuum to obtain the limulus peptide paste. The limulus peptide paste obtained by the preparation method can be used as a phagostimulant, the ingestion desire of the experimental mouse is increased, the food intake of the experimental mouse is ensured, and the modeling quality of an animal model is improved.
