titleOfInvention | Process for producing polypropylene resin foamed particles |
abstract | A preparation method of polypropylene resin foaming particles belongs to the technical field of foaming materials. Solves the problems of uneven dispersion of hydrophilic substances, easy strip breakage during particle preparation and poor uniformity of foam particle pores caused by incompatibility of the hydrophilic substances and polypropylene in the existing method for preparing the foam particles by polypropylene kettle type foaming. The method comprises the steps of putting particles to be foamed into a foaming kettle, adding water and a physical foaming agent, heating to a temperature higher than the softening temperature of the particles to be foamed, keeping the pressure in the kettle at 0.5-10MPa, and releasing at a pressure lower than the internal pressure of the foaming kettle to obtain polypropylene resin foamed particles; wherein, the particle to be foamed is a copolymerized polypropylene particle containing a hydrophilic structural unit or a composite particle of the copolymerized polypropylene containing the hydrophilic structural unit and an additive. The method improves the dispersibility of the hydrophilic substance in the system, reduces and widens the forming temperature of the foaming particles, and the prepared foaming particles have good uniformity of foam pores. |
