The method can provide sufficient nutrients for the chestnut trees in different periods, and can improve the yield and the quality of the chestnuts by matching with the pruning of the chestnut flowers, the management of pollination and the prevention and treatment of plant diseases and insect pests. The method can also improve the soil property of the chestnut garden, improve the soil fertility and the water storage and preservation capacity, and provide guarantee for the high yield of the chestnuts in the next year. Meanwhile, different selenium solutions are respectively used in the pollination period and the fruit expansion period, so that the selenium content of the Chinese chestnut fruits can be effectively improved.
