abstract The invention discloses an active composition based on linalool and camphor, which comprises the following components in parts by weight: 20-70 parts of linalool, 20-70 parts of camphor and 0-10 parts of tetradecane. The invention also comprises a Chilo suppressalis attractant formed by the active composition and the nonvolatile organic solvent, and a Chilo suppressalis attractant core for packaging the Chilo suppressalis attractant in the disorientation silk. The active composition provided by the invention can directly attract female moths and male moths of the chilo suppressalis, has higher control efficiency on the chilo suppressalis than that of a sex attractant, can be used for trapping and killing a large number of chilo suppressalis, can obviously reduce the number of field chilo suppressalis adults and reduce the population density of progeny. The method can also be applied to prediction and forecast of chilo suppressalis, and the pest trapping amount can accurately predict the occurrence dynamics of chilo suppressalis population.
