The present invention relates to a cell culture apparatus, comprising: a connected culture container having a cell holding section for holding inoculated cells, m culture chambers each having the cell holding section and storing a liquid culture medium and arranged in parallel in a first direction, and 1 or more connecting channels for interconnecting the m culture chambers, wherein the m culture chambers and the connecting channels constitute a unit, and the n units are arranged in parallel in a second direction different from the first direction; and a plurality of pneumatic tubes which communicate between the culture chambers arranged in the same row in the second direction in the connected culture vessel, and which can simultaneously pressurize or simultaneously release the culture chambers arranged in the same row to atmospheric pressure, and which can convey the liquid culture medium between the m culture chambers through the connection flow path by using a pressure difference between the m culture chambers, wherein m is an integer of 2 or more, and n is an integer of 2 or more. |
