abstract |
The present disclosure provides highly effective immunoreagents for use in various immunoassays and other related techniques. Immunization reagents comprise a primary antibody and a bridging antigen recognized with high affinity by a detectable secondary antibody. The present disclosure also provides compositions comprising combinations of immunizing reagents specific for a plurality of different target antigens and compositions comprising pairs of primary immunizing reagents and their complementary detectable secondary antibodies. Paired primary immunoreagents and primary antibodies can be used in a variety of immunological assays, especially in highly multiplexed assays where the structure of the bridging antigen varies with the detectable secondary antibody, thereby providing a multiplexed immunoreagent, It enables simultaneous detection of multiple target antigens in a single assay. The present disclosure also provides kits comprising immunoreactivity, immunoassay methods using the immunoreagents of the present disclosure, and methods of preparing immunoreagents. |
