abstract The invention provides a method for dispersing nano particles, nano particles with a core-shell structure, a preparation method thereof and lubricating oil, wherein the method for dispersing the nano particles comprises the following steps: forming an outer shell on an outer surface of the nanoparticle, the outer shell being formed from amorphous molybdenum sulfide; dispersing the nanoparticles formed with the shell in a liquid medium. By the method, the nano particles which have no functional groups on the surface and are not easy to disperse in the liquid medium can be stably dispersed in the liquid medium for a long time, and the application range of the nano particles is expanded.
