The invention discloses a gas turbine air intake system, a method of operating the same, and a gas turbine engine. The gas turbine air intake system may include: an inlet water cooling system positioned upstream of the compressor for cooling the air flow by water flow; and a moisture detection system positioned downstream of the intake water cooling system to detect whether water flow droplets are in the air flow toward the compressor beyond the intake water cooling system. |
