titleOfInvention Method for recovering ethylene glycol and acetaldehyde from polyester wastewater
abstract The invention relates to a method for recovering ethylene glycol and acetaldehyde from polyester wastewater. Treating the esterification wastewater in a stripping tower, introducing stripping tail gas condensate led out from the top of the stripping tower into an acetaldehyde rectifying tower, treating the stripping tail gas condensate in the acetaldehyde rectifying tower, and recovering acetaldehyde at the tower top; the wastewater at the bottom of the tower enters a secondary stripping tower, and the light component gas at the top of the tower enters a stripping system again for cyclic treatment or is sent to a heat medium furnace for incineration; the glycol water solution at the bottom of the secondary stripping tower directly enters an esterification separation tower of a polyester workshop for separation and recycling; the content of light-component organic matters in the recycled ethylene glycol aqueous solution entering the esterification separation tower after secondary stripping is sufficiently low. According to the invention, the secondary stripping tower is used for further removing impurities and purifying the wastewater at the bottom of the acetaldehyde rectification tower, so that the recycled ethylene glycol solution entering the esterification separation tower is purer in component, the influence of the light component entering the esterification separation tower on a production operation system is reduced, the production operation system is more stable, and the influence of the recycled ethylene glycol on a final product is eliminated.
