abstract The invention provides a light-weight, high-strength, high-volume fly ash ceramsite and a preparation method thereof. In parts by mass, the ceramsite includes: 70-95 parts of fly ash, 1-5 parts of plasticizer, foaming 0-5 parts of agent, 0-10 parts of flux and 0-10 parts of reinforcing agent. The fly ash ceramsite provided by the present invention is light in weight and high in strength, with a density level as high as 600-900kg/ m3 , a cylinder compressive strength as high as 7-15MPa, a water absorption rate as low as 3-5%, and is not easily damaged; it can be used to prepare lightweight aggregate High performance concrete, building siding, bridges and pipes. In "Light Aggregate and Its Experimental Methods Part 1: Light Aggregate", the requirements are relatively low. The strength of high-strength ceramsite with a density range of 600-900kg/ m3 is required to be 4-6.5MPa, and the water absorption rate is generally lower than 20%. .
