The present invention provides a resin composition excellent in transparency, surface hardness and surface smoothness, and less whitening after heating, a method for producing the same, a molded body, a film, and an article excellent in impact resistance. The resin composition contains, at a specific ratio, 80% by mass or more of a structural unit derived from methyl methacrylate and a melt viscosity η(A) at 220° C. and a shear rate of 122/sec of 1500 to 3500 Pa·s A methacrylic resin (A), and a triblock copolymer (B) in which a methacrylate polymer block (b2) is bonded to both ends of the acrylate polymer block (b1). The triblock copolymer (B) has an acrylate polymer block (b1) and a methacrylate polymer block (b2) in a specific ratio, and the triblock copolymer (B) is heated at 220° C., shearing The melt viscosity η(B) at a speed of 122/sec was 75 to 1500 Pa·s, and η(A)/η(B) was 1 to 20. |
