The acetic acid hydrogenation catalyst provided by the invention comprises an active component and a carrier, and is characterized by further comprising one or two carbonates of calcium and barium. According to the invention, calcium carbonate and barium carbonate are adopted to reduce the acid amount of the catalyst and simultaneously avoid the generation of strong alkaline substances, so that the solid alkali amount on the surface of the catalyst is greatly reduced, the acid amount of the catalyst is reduced while the alkali amount of the acetic acid hydrogenation catalyst is not increased, and the generation of byproducts acetone and isopropanol is further avoided. |
