abstract The present invention relates to a drive circuit for a switching element and a power conversion system. In the drive circuit, the speed regulator regulates a charging speed of the MOSFET to be faster than a charging speed of the IGBT when the drive state converter first changes the first switching element from the off state to the on state and then changes the second switching element from the off state to the on state, and also regulates a discharging speed of the MOSFET to be faster than a discharging speed of the IGBT when the drive state converter first changes the MOSFET from the on state to the off state and then changes the IGBT from the on state to the off state.
