The chemically amplified positive photosensitive organic insulating film composition of the present invention is excellent in chemical resistance to an etchant and a release agent, does not swell after development, can desirably maintain solubility in an alkaline aqueous solution as a developing solution, is excellent in sensitivity and transmittance, and exhibits an appropriate pattern angle, and therefore can be effectively used for producing an insulating film.
