abstract |
The present invention provides a method for preparing a silica aerogel-containing felt, and a silica aerogel-containing felt prepared by using the preparation method. The preparation method comprises: mixing water glass solution, polar organic solvent preparing a sol by mixing with a silazane-based surface modifier; preparing a silica gel-substrate composite by dipping a substrate for felt in the sol and gelling it; and drying the silica gel-based composite material. Through the above preparation method, it is possible to use a minimum amount of surface modifier to prepare a product with high hydrophobicity and excellent physical properties, especially lower tap density, higher porosity, without the surface modification step. Silica aerogel-containing felt with high yield and excellent mechanical toughness. |
