Preparation of membranes comprising high chi(χ) block copolymers and hexafluoroalcohol-containing surface-active polymers (SAP) for self-assembly on substrate surfaces that are domain-neutrally wetted by self-assembling block copolymers Floor. The block copolymer comprises at least one polycarbonate block and at least one other block (eg, a substituted or unsubstituted styryl block). The film layer, whose top surface is in contact with the atmosphere, self-assembles to form a pattern of lamellar or cylindrical domains with a vertical orientation relative to the underlying surface. Other states (eg islands and pores with a height of 1.0 Lo) were obtained with SAP-free films. The SAP is preferentially miscible with the domain comprising the polycarbonate block and reduces its surface energy. |
