titleOfInvention | Antibodies against TIGIT |
abstract | The present invention provides antibodies or antigen-binding fragments thereof that bind to human TIGIT (T cell immune receptor containing Ig and ITIM domains), and the use of these antibodies or fragments in therapeutic applications, eg, in the treatment of cancer or chronic viral infections. Such therapeutic approaches include combination therapy with inhibitors that interact with other immunomodulatory receptors, such as PD-1/PD-L1 interactions. The present invention further provides a polynucleotide encoding the heavy chain and/or light chain variable region of the antibody, an expression vector comprising the polynucleotide encoding the heavy chain and/or light chain variable region of the antibody, comprising the cells of the vector, and methods of making the antibodies or fragments by expressing them from the cells. |
