The present invention relates to casting moulds, inserts for casting moulds, castings and casting methods thereof. The present invention describes a metal casting method and an injection molding method in which molten material is molded around the insert so that the molten material does not enter the interior of the insert. There is an advantage to the use of wire thread inserts as inserts in that, for example, threaded holes for aluminium castings can be produced in the casting process. To this end, the present invention discloses a corresponding casting mold, an insert and a casting method. |
