abstract |
The invention provides a method for manufacturing paper, which can improve total retention and filler retention and reduce turbidity. A method for manufacturing paper, comprising the steps of: a filler dispersion liquid adding step of adding a filler dispersion liquid in which a filler is dispersed in water by a cationic resin to a pulp slurry containing raw material pulp; and a retention aid adding step of adding a retention aid to the pulp slurry after the filler dispersion adding step. The cationic resin is preferably at least one selected from the group consisting of a quaternary ammonium salt-containing resin and an epihalohydrin-alkylamine copolymer. |
