The present invention relates to novel methods for characterizing target RNA polynucleotides by obtaining one or more measurements as the target RNA polynucleotide moves relative to the transmembrane pore. This movement is controlled by DNA helicases. The present invention also relates to modified RNA constructs, wherein the RNA polynucleotides have been modified to enhance the binding of DNA helicases thereto. |
