abstract |
Described herein is a method for shaping keratin fibers comprising: providing a pretreatment composition comprising a pretreatment active agent; applying the pretreatment composition to keratin fibers; remain on protein fibers for a period of from about 5 minutes to about 24 hours; providing a crosslinking composition comprising from about 1% to about 20% of one or more protein crosslinking agents and a cosmetically acceptable a carrier; applying the crosslinking composition to the keratin fibers; and mechanically shaping the keratin fibers with an implement at a temperature of from about 50°C to about 280°C. |
