abstract The present invention discloses a safe method of bleaching teeth by applying a film of a first bleaching composition with a high concentration of bleaching agent to the teeth to be bleached, followed immediately by applying a second bleaching composition with a low concentration of bleaching agent to the teeth to be bleached. In another embodiment, a DC current is applied through the mixture of bleaching compositions to accelerate bleaching activity on the teeth.
