abstract |
The present application relates to a method of detecting therapeutic exosomes, the method comprising detecting the activity of the exosomes. The activity may be selected from the group consisting of: (a) immunomodulatory activity; (b) complement inhibitory activity; (c) proteasome activity; (d) glycolytic enzyme activity; (e) antioxidant activity; (f) cellular Extracellular matrix (ECM) modification activity; (g) NT5E (CD73) exogenous-5'-exonucleotidase activity; (h) ion homeostasis activity; and (i) molecular chaperone activity. If the exosomes are detected with one or more of these activities, the exosomes may include therapeutic exosomes with therapeutic activity. |
