Methods for detecting therapeutic exosomes |
abstract |
The present application relates to a method of detecting therapeutic exosomes, the method comprising detecting the activity of the exosomes. The activity may be selected from the group consisting of: (a) immunomodulatory activity; (b) complement inhibitory activity; (c) proteasome activity; (d) glycolytic enzyme activity; (e) antioxidant activity; Extracellular matrix (ECM) modification activity; (g) NT5E (CD73) exogenous-5'-ectonucleotidase activity; (h) ion homeostasis activity; and (i) chaperone activity. If the exosome is detected to have one or more of these activities, the exosome may comprise a therapeutic exosome that is therapeutically active. |
