abstract |
An apparatus for performing a generalized view warping method. The method comprises: determining a camera plane comprising at least three real cameras based on a predetermined viewpoint of a virtual camera associated with a desired virtual image; and pre-distorting at least three image planes such that all image planes are parallel to the camera plane , and each image plane is associated with one of the real cameras located on the camera plane; a virtual image plane is determined by performing linear interpolation deformation on the at least three image planes; and then warping the virtual image plane to a predetermined pose. |
