abstract | The invention relates to a method by means of which phase-pure and easily sinterable lithium titanium phosphate-based materials can be provided. The method is a sol-gel method, wherein stabilized TiO is provided in one sub-step 2+ -an aqueous nitrate solution. The pure or substituted lithium titanium phosphate to be prepared has the following composition: li 1+x+y M x Ti 2‑x (PO 4 ) 3‑y (SiO 4 ) y Wherein M = Al, Ga, In, Sc, V, Cr, Mn, Co, Fe, Y, La-Lu, and 0. ltoreq. x.ltoreq.0.5 and 0. ltoreq. y.ltoreq.0.5. The pure or substituted lithium titanium phosphate to be prepared is in compressed form (density)>99% of theoretical density) at room temperature at 1X 10 ‑4 To 1X 10 ‑3 Very good lithium ion conductivity in the range of S/cm and can be used advantageously in this connection as solid electrolyte in lithium batteries or Li/air batteries or lithium ion accumulators. |
