A disclosed dose-adjusting computer-controlled dosing system for a mobile hand-held inhaler for delivering doses of a medicament is provided. The system includes at least one measurement device that measures at least one parameter; and a hand-held mobile computer separate from the inhaler, the computer configured to communicate with the at least one measurement device and the remote storage for sending information to and receiving information from the patient's medical record in the remote storage , for storage in the memory of the computer, and the computer is configured to receive manual input stored in the memory of the computer. The computer is configured to create a data set setting a plurality of different dosage levels of the drug based on the drug used by the inhaler, information from the patient's medical record in remote memory, and manual entry; and the computer is also configured to store the data in the computer's memory set. The computer is further configured to generate an indication of a dose adjustment for the inhaler based on the at least one parameter and one of the plurality of dose levels of the data set, the indication indicating one of the plurality of dose levels of the data set as the dose adjustment for the inhaler. Dosage regimens generated by computer controlled dosing systems are also disclosed. |
