titleOfInvention | Application of chicoric acid in preparation of medicine for resisting respiratory syncytial virus |
abstract | The invention discloses a new application of chicoric acid in preparing a medicament for resisting respiratory syncytial virus. The inventor of the invention screens antiviral components in plant echinacea purpurea by applying a traditional Chinese medicine chemical method, discovers the optimal antiviral active component, namely chicoric acid, through in-vitro antiviral efficacy experiments, and discovers that the in-vitro antiviral activity of the chicoric acid on Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) is strongest and is superior to that of a reference medicament, namely ribavirin, so that the chicoric acid can be used as the active component for preparing the medicament for resisting the respiratory syncytial virus, and a proper amount of pharmaceutically acceptable matrix or auxiliary materials can be added during specific application and can also be combined with a proper medicament for application. |
