abstract | The invention discloses a method for synthesizing nanometer cobaltosic oxide wrapped by polyacrylic acid and application thereof, wherein the synthesis comprises the following steps: dissolving cobalt nitrate in water to form a solution with the concentration of 1-10M; dissolving polyacrylic acid in water to form a solution with the concentration of 0.05-0.5M; mixing the two solutions, adding the mixture into ammonia water under continuous stirring, and reacting; the mixture was stirred continuously for a further 24 hours during which time the color of the solution changed from wine red to dark brown and the product was centrifuged at 4000 rpm for 30 minutes to remove large agglomerates and debris. The supernatant was then purified and concentrated using a 30K ultrafiltration centrifuge tube. And finally, freeze-drying the obtained solution to obtain light brown solid powder, namely the nano cobaltosic oxide coated by the polyacrylic acid. Compared with the prior art, the method realizes the one-step synthesis of the polyacrylic acid-coated nano cobaltosic oxide, and has the advantages of simple steps, low cost and small synthetic particle size; and the high catalytic activity of the catalyst is utilized to apply the catalyst to the degradation of organic dyes. |
