abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a method for detecting highly malignant ovarian clear cell adenocarcinoma with high sensitivity and specificity in benign or malignant ovarian tumors with various histological types, and a reagent that can be used for the method. The present invention provides a novel tissue factor pathway inhibitor 2 processing polypeptide, namely NT-TFPI2, as a new detection marker for ovarian clear cell adenocarcinoma. Ovarian clear cell adenocarcinoma is detected by measuring the amount of NT-TFPI2, or the total amount of NT-TFPI2 and intact TFPI2. In addition, the detection reagent for ovarian clear cell adenocarcinoma contains antibodies that specifically recognize NT-TFPI2 and intact TFPI2. |
