titleOfInvention | Polarizing plate and liquid crystal panel |
abstract | The invention provides a polarizing plate, which can inhibit the reduction of polarization degree caused by the deviation of the absorption axis of the polarizing film caused by the dimension change of an optical film in a heat resistance test. A polarizing plate comprising an optical film, a 1 st adhesive layer, a polarizing film and a 2 nd adhesive layer in this order, wherein an angle formed by an absorption axis of the polarizing film and a slow axis of the optical film is about 45 DEG or about 135 DEG, and a dimensional change rate D1 in a direction of 45 DEG with respect to the absorption axis of the polarizing film when the optical film is left standing for 100 hours in an environment of 85 ℃ and a dimensional change rate D2 in a direction of 135 DEG with respect to the absorption axis of the polarizing film when the optical film is left standing for 100 hours in an environment of 85 ℃ satisfy the following formulas (1) and (2). In the case of | D1| > | D2|, in the case of 2 < | D1|/| D2| (1) | D1| < | D2|, 2 < | D2|/| D1| (2). |
