titleOfInvention Red phosphor and light-emitting device
abstract The present invention relates to a red phosphor and a light-emitting device. An object of the present invention is to provide a red phosphor having excellent brightness. Furthermore, an object of the present invention is to provide a high-brightness light-emitting device by using the red phosphor. The present invention provides a phosphor whose main crystal phase is represented by the general formula: MAlSiN 3 (M element represents one or more elements selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ca, Sr, and Ba), and the main crystal phase is represented by CaAlSiN The 3 -component or main crystal phase has the same crystal structure as CaAlSiN 3 , a part of M element is replaced by Eu element, and the phosphor contains 3 ppm or more and 500 ppm or less of W (tungsten) based on the total mass of the phosphor.
